Red Queen Blackjack
Red Queen Blackjack is played with 6 standard decks of 52 cards and allows players to simultaneously wager in 3 independent hands. The cards are re-shuffled before each round. Both the player and the dealer are dealt two cards each among which the player will only be able to see one of the dealer’s cards unless he finished his turn. The aim of the game is to beat the dealer by adding your card totals closer or equal to 21. To win a hand, your card value should always be higher than that of the dealer but not over 21.
Players are able to play 3 hands in a single round in this version of Blackjack. Players can place the chips in each of the three separate betting areas if they choose to. The smallest chip size in this game is $0.10 while the largest chip value is $100.00.
Like most variations of blackjack, the rules for this version are standard while there is a slight change for the better in the payouts. The dealer must always stand on a 17 and players can split only once. An Ace can count as 1 or 11 and all the face cards, J, Q and K are counted as a 10. Doubling down is allowed in any card total. The game offers insurance when the first dealer card is an Ace and has a potential blackjack hand. All payouts are 1 to 1 except for blackjack wins which pays 32. However, if players have blackjack with an Ace and Red Queen, the blackjack payout is 21 instead of 32.
