How to play Blackjack Side Bets by GameArt?
Blackjack Side Bets will allow you to play up to 3 simultaneous hands of Blackjack along with side bets. The minimum and maximum bets per bet place for standard bets are $0.20 and $200 respectively. The maximum bet allowed per bet place for side bets is $100.
Press Deal after you place bets and you will be dealt with two cards face-up and the dealer will also receive two cards, one faced up and one faced down. You can then choose to either Hit to receive an additional card or Stand to end your turn. You may also choose to Double Down to double your initial bet or Split your cards into two hands if you are dealt cards of equal value.
Aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10 and remaining cards as per their numeric values. You have Blackjack if you are dealt an ace and a 10-value card. The goal in this game is to keep your hand value below or equal to 21. If it goes over 21, you go Bust and lose your bet. Once you finish your turns, the dealer will reveal their face-down card and draw additional cards until their hand value reaches 17 or higher. If your hand value is greater than the dealer's but doesn't exceed 21, you win. If your hand value matches the dealer's, it's a Push, and your bet is returned.
Blackjack Wins pay you 3 to 2 the bet value whereas normal wins pay 1 to 1 the bet value. You may choose to place side bets at the start to bet on risky hands. If you win with side bets, you will be paid and the standard Blackjack game will continue.
The bonus features in Blackjack Side Bets
You may place Perfect Pairs Side Bet to earn up to 25 to 1 the bet value. The first two cards dealt to you must be a Perfect Pair, Same Colour Pair or Mixed Colour Pair to win the side bet.
You may place 21+3 Side Bet to earn up to 100 to 1 the bet value. The first two cards dealt to you and the dealer's up card must form a Suited Three of a Kind, Straight Flush, Three of a Kind, Straight or Flush to win the side bet.
If the dealer's up card is an ace, you can buy Insurance against the dealer's hand being a Blackjack. This costs you 50% of your original bet and pays 2 to 1 the Insurance amount if the dealer has Blackjack, ending the game. The insurance bet is lost if the dealer does not have Blackjack and the standard game continues.
