Big Bass Splash’s Exciting New Features
Seasoned Big Bass fans will find the base game of Big Bass Splash to be almost identical to most of the series’ past instalments.
However, it’s when the Scatter symbols come into play that the difference will surely be noticed.
Landing two Scatter symbols will trigger the Extra Chance feature where they will move one spot down their respective reels while the other reels spin again. This will continue until one of them falls off the bottom of its reel and the feature ends for that spin.
Alternatively, a hook might appear and pull up the third Scatter symbol on one of the other reels to trigger the game’s bonus round.
When three, four or five Scatter symbols land on the reels, the bonus round will be triggered and players will see a feature that is familiar to Big Bass fans: a meter above the reels. Fisherman Wild symbols are collected here and every four will trigger special bonuses as per below:
- 4 Wild symbols: Additional 10 free spins and a x2 cash fish prize multiplier
- 8 Wild symbols: Additional 10 free spins and a x3 cash fish prize multiplier
- 12 Wild symbols: Additional 10 free spins and a x10 cash fish prize multiplier
No more bonuses will be given once the third stage has been reached no matter how many more Wild symbols land on the reels.
Before the free spins begin, however, several fish will begin swimming in a circle below the reels and a lasso will be thrown from above to catch them. A maximum of five side features can be acquired this way and this pre-feature will end when the lasso catches an anchor instead of a fish. Below is a look at what side features can be triggered:
More Fishermen: The fisherman Wild symbol will land on the reels more often.
Start from Level 2: The bonus round will start on the second level of the Wild symbol collection meter.
More Hooks and Explosions: The chances of triggering dynamite, hook and bazooka modifiers will be increased.
More Fish: Cash fish symbols will appear more frequently on the reels.
Extra Free Spins: The bonus round will start with an additional two free spins and every stage of the Wild symbol collection meter will award an additional 12 free spins instead of the standard 10.
